Bloomingville: Kitchen and Tableware

I was going through the latest March 2015 issue of House Beautiful via Issuu when spotted this cute Alberte teapot with bamboo handle from Bloomingville (on page 79) and I just loved it. Not being a huge fan of Scandinavian designs despite of their clean lines and uncluttered look (guilty confession), I hadn’t gone through their latest Summer/Spring 2015 catalogue – this teapot made me do that!

And I found the prettiest of all tableware. Yes, please. Soft colors, earthly tones – inspired by spring-y botanicals and designs in simple geometric shapes; even polka dots (my favorite). Their newest collection is filled with lovely pieces that are both practical and useful for a kitchen that keeps busy all day. I’ve always believed that a table should be decorated keeping the color tones more on a softer side since plates, platters and bowls are going to be filled with food and its the color of food that should tempt the guests and not merely the china. On that note, they’ve done a great job with their latest collection.
