Hello all. I’m going to share my favorite colors and combinations that are most used in cottage style decor today. Colors are so important; they are nature’s best blessing, aren’t they? But before, why don’t you go back and take a look at how cottage style inspired me here and what essential elements I adore in designing the said style here. Okay, let’s start because when it comes to color, cottage style has the prettiest subtle and calm palettes I’ve ever seen.
Neutrals are most cottage-style-friendly. Call me boring, but I really love how neutral tones mix up with warm woods and textured objects.
Cool pastels are known as a signature to create a look that is more casual and informal yet comfortable. They make the best combinations that are ice for eyes and fruit for soul; especially if you live in a place where summers stay longer.
Hue-lovers have their share of taste too. There is also room for bold colors to play with if you’re designing a cottage or trying to get the look, however, it is always better to use them carefully, one bold hue at a time and that makes it fit naturally around bold textures. Instead it gives a very lively look.
I’m in love with these colors; they are so inspiring and pretty. Tomorrow, I’ll be back with more on cottage style.
