Has spring dropped in around your neighborhood, already? Yay for you. We are also seeing some signs around ours and it makes me happiest these days. Spring has always been my favorite time of the year. For a good reason; I’m one of those lucky ones who don’t fall with a flu very often in the spring. Thank goodness! But apart from that, I love the said days because everything seems so fresh and happy around, especially the trees, flowers, plants and birds singing their sweet chirps, well, we don’t really understand their words, but it shows that they are happy for the sun to come out and, oh the rain! We had a couple of heavy rainy days last week and it was so refreshing; opening up the windows of your home and doors of your heart for fresh air to come in and smelling that scent of wet soil is the subtlest on nerves.
Speaking of spring, I found this blog last week (sitting by the window watching the rain) full of blossoms and flowers and everything spring! It was a real treat for eyes; and just in time!
Grange de Charme (A Charming Barn) is a French Blog that is filled with tons of inspiration and ideas for spring. Its a wonderful thing – having a language barrier; not knowing a single word of what is written yet you understand the love being spread through the imagery. Its the inspiration that matters the most, not just the words – seeing the things your way; or maybe from a different perspective!
I loved this classic French style of decorating with artificial net flowers and beads in addition to fresh ones and making so many combinations out of them. Though, there is no alternative to the effect that fresh flowers bring but using faux flowers could be a good idea too, if you like me, feel sad when the fresh flowers die out after a few days. Its just a matter of little brainstorming to incorporate ideas in your own home; the way you love it. And I find so many in here…
